Slot Wr Free Agents
And the Patriots could use a variety of receivers to help fill out their depth chart around Edelman. But let's look specifically at some of the names who could end up helping the Patriots in the slot. Golden Tate, 30, 70.2 percent of snaps in the slot in 2018 Tate came into free agency as the biggest name available. Kevin Johnson played well in the slot for the Bills this past season. He missed a bit too many tackles, but he covered slot receivers very well. Logan Ryan, CB, Titans. Signed with Giants (1 year, $7.5 million) Logan Ryan has been a solid, but unspectacular slot cornerback for the Titans over the past few seasons.
The Philadelphia Eagles are currently 3-4-1 on the season and working towards another NFC East championship. Even with the Birds fully engulfed in the 2020 season, 2021 looms, and with impending salary cap issues, the Eagles free agent class for next spring could likely see a lot of familiar names exit as Howie Roseman and company look to continue their youth movement.
Here’s a brief look ahead to some of the Eagles key free agents for next spring.
LT Jason Peters

Peters returned to the Eagles on a 1-year deal to play right guard when Brandon Brooks suffered an Achilles injury. Peters has now switched back to his natural left tackle position.
Almost 40-years-old, Peters should be playing his final season in the NFL, and with both Andre Dillard and Jordan Mailata comfortable at left tackle, the next stop for Peters in Philadelphia is the ring of honor.
LB Nate Gerry

Gerry’s future in Philadelphia could be sealed during the next two weeks when Eagles brass will get a good look at T.J. Edwards and Alex Singleton playing together at linebacker. The Eagles have 2020 draft picks Shaun Bradley and Davion Taylor waiting in the wings as well.
Entering the 2020 season, Gerry was a candidate for a contract extension. Now he’ll wait and see after a rough first half of the 2020 NFL season.
CB/S Jalen Mills

Mills signed a modest one-year deal to return to the Eagles in 2020, and the results have seen the ‘Green Goblin’ play both safety and cornerback for the injury riddle Eagles.
The Eagles re-signed Mills to a one-year, $4 million deal and with Rodney McLeod, K’Von Wallace at safety, Mills could have a future in Philadelphia. In his first eight games of the season, Mills has recorded 40 tackles, a pick, four passes defended,1.5 sacks, and four QB hits. Mills is also allowing a career-low nine yards per reception.
CB Crevon LeBlanc

A solid slot cornerback, LeBlanc didn’t play much in the Eagles’ first two games, but he’s played 35 snaps per game over the last five weeks, mainly in the slot but also at outside cornerback. With Nickell Robey-Coleman struggling in his first season with the Eagles, LeBlanc could definitely be a candidate to be re-signed.
QB Nate Sudfeld
With Jalen Hurts in the fold, Sudfeld could be the odd man out at quarterback. The Eagles carried three quarterbacks on the roster this season and although Sudfeld hasn’t been active, he still could find a home in Philadelphia if there are no suitors on the open market.
LB Duke Riley
Riley is never going to be a star, but he’s solid at linebacker and an ace on special teams. The Eagles could find themselves choosing between bringing back Gerry or Riley.
P Cameron Johnston

One of the top punters in the NFL, Johnston was tendered during the offseason as an exclusive rights free agent. Signed by the Eagles as an undrafted rookie in 2017, Johnson has been the team’s punter for the last three seasons.

Set to become an exclusive rights free agent, Scott appears to be a keeper for an Eagles team looking to keep some continuity in the backfield while having a valuable player on the roster for the cheap.
Current Free Agent Wr
WR Travis Fulgham

Fulgham has become the breakout player of the 2020 season and the closest thing the Eagles have had to Terrell Owens could become the biggest free-agent signee in team history.
Fulgham signed a 1-year contract with the Eagles, including an average annual salary of $675,000. In 2020, Fulgham will earn a base salary of $555,882, while carrying a cap hit of $555,882.
An exclusive rights free agent, the Eagles could take a wait and see approach and tender Fulgham, or they could choose to sign the explosive wideout to a new deal that’s team-friendly.
UPDATE:
Allen Robinson
Fulgham is actually on a two-year deal per Mike Kaye of NJ.com and even after the 2021 season, he’ll likely be tendered as a restricted free agent.
CB Nickell Robey-Coleman

Robey-Coleman signed a one-year deal with the Eagles and came to Philadelphia as one of the top slot cornerbacks in all of the NFL. Seen as a top-5 slot CB, Robey-Coleman has struggled in coverage and with his effort at times.
He’s allowed 21 catches on 26 targets and has been lackluster at times with his effort.
LB Alex Singleton

Ward is also an exclusive rights free agent and after 3 seasons spent on the practice squad, he now leads the Eagles in receptions this season.
